solar wattage

SOLAR EFFICIENCY TABLE:
(SOLAR) WATTAGE REQUIREMENTS WORKSHEET

Definitions:

Volts: electric potential, similar to pressure in water systems.
Amps: electrical current flow, similar to gallons/min. in water.
Watts: rate of energy production or consumption = volts x amps, similar to speed (rate of movement; miles per hour).
Watt-hours: total power produced or consumed watts x hours.
Kilowatt: 1,000 watts; 1 kilowatt-hour (1 kWh) = 1,000 watt-hours.
AC: Alternating current; electrical energy form as is available from utilities, generators, and inverters.
DC: Direct current; electrical energy form as is stored in batteries.
